To imagine that companies like NVIDIA are already “creating high-fidelity avatars that can stand in for executives during low-level meetings,” genuinely scares me. I can totally imagine the future world where I am no longer meeting a hiring manager directly when applying for a job, but instead, meeting his AI hologram. A lot of the implications of this technology seem so trivial to me; like who would really use technology in this way? Then I think about it more, and I realize that everyone will be using technology in this.
